Jeff’s written work achieves results. Over the past 20 years, his writing has enabled startups sell their breakthrough technology and land venture funding. His writing has helped large, mature organizations successfully navigate change and meet enterprise goals. Jeff has secured awards for non-profits and has helped organizations of all sizes build trust with clients and stakeholders by communicating in plain style.
He writes and edits brochures, direct mail, newsletters, websites, case studies, white papers, blogs, business plans, press releases, eLearning modules, user manuals and more.
With a background in business strategy and product marketing, Jeff understands how the written word needs to connect not only to other elements on the page but to what a company offers in the real world. As such, he dives deep to understand the complexities of his clients’ businesses and their value propositions to deliver messages that are credible to knowledgeable audiences.
Intellectually curious by nature, Jeff started his career as a PhD student in English, studying opposite-sex friendships in literature and teaching first-year writing composition at the University of Alberta.
